Dryer Exhaust Re-Route Performed in Daly City, CA

I was called to this house in Daly City because of poor dryer performance. When I arrived at the property I immediately notice the existing exhaust system was in a less than optimal state. I present the customer with a couple of different options to solve the poor dryer performance. The first was to service the existing semi-rigid duct and add straps to remove the sagging sections of the system. The second was to remove the semi-rigid exhaust and replace it with hard pipe. The customer decided to have a complete dryer exhaust replacement to address the issues. I proceeded to remove the semi-rigid duct work and replaced the entire system with a code conforming exhaust system which would ensure efficiency and safety of the system. As part of the re-route, I also recommended that a new DryerFlex transition duct from InOvate be installed, In addition, I replaced the existing vent hood with a new and operational one, as part of the vent hood installation I ensure the new vent hood is secure and water tight. As a result of this re-route the customer now has a safe and efficient exhaust system which will last for many years to come.
