Dryer Exhaust Replacement in Portola Valley

This customer called me for a simple vent cleaning in Portola Valley, California. Once performed a video inspection I determined that the entire dryer exhaust was not connected at all. Upon further inspection I noticed that the entire dryer exhaust was routed with a plastic duct which is very unsafe. I recommended a dryer exhaust replacement should be done and this system should be crafted out of hard pipe and the overall run length should be less than 35 feet. I performed the service and installed a new exhaust system for him. I was able to shorten the exhaust to 17 feet buy using hard pipe and creating a new exit point for the exhaust. At the end of the day the customer has a safe and efficent exhaust system for years to come.
